DrPepper
How hard are these nails ie, what do they compare to?
EricMilfeld
Possibly the Iron Mind White Nail, but without actually bending the specific nails in question it's strictly guesswork.
DrPepper
Forgot to mention it was 1/4 inch
DrPepper
Possibly the Iron Mind White Nail, but without actually bending the specific nails in question it's strictly guesswork. ← I don't know how strong the 4.5" 1/4"inch CRS is but I know it's stronger than 6" 3 / 16" IM IM White Nail. I appreciate your post as you seem to have been the only person to try and help
SqeezeMasterFlash
If you're bending 1/4" CRS, it's comparable to the IM blue. 4.5" would be outstanding and 4" would tie the current world record for steel that thick.

Clay Edgin
I believe there have been a few people to venture below 4".

I ask because my friend who has been bending for 2 weeks did the 4incher last night. Would the 4.5"I bent be comparable to a G5?
SqeezeMasterFlash
I believe there have been a few people to venture below 4". ← I hadn't heard about that. Certainly possible though with some of the huge benders around here.
timster
I hope I am not thread jacking, but I googled and I am trying to find out the strength of a 1/4 inch hex bolt I purchased that has HKT on the head... 5.5 inch bolt... I found it was cold rolled steel? Anyways, I thought this was a good time and thread to ask the question. I tried it last month before I started KTA again and it was unbelievably tough... I got it in a bunch of easily bendable cheap 1/4 inch hex bolts... Very tough. HKT? Anybody know what means?
