JamesG
Just curious who bends with the rev. grip or underhand style? Seems like most have switched to overhand. Anyone going for a red with one of these styles? James Getchell
MikeP
I still bend underhand, just not my strongest style, but am getting to where I can take 60d's rather easy....not anywhere near a red though.
ishred
i'm bending terminator (reverse). feels strong and natural to me.
deaner
I bend reverse but havent been doin much, have done grade 8 this way, and kinked a couple reds. wanting to focus on getting the #3 right now. Ive fairly easily bent grade 8 double o, and kinked a red this way, but dont like it. like underhand too, but cant get past 60d.
kerbjr
Even though I bend double OH primarily I still bend UH as well, I am close to a grade 8 this way......Brett
Incindium
Bent a Hard 60d at the Michigan Grip Contest and slightly kinked a Grade 8 using double underhand. I'm assuming is normal for people using DU to switch it over to DO once you've got a good start. Thats what I do.
pdoire
Dumb bending question: What is the terminator style? Is it the DU style or something else, I do understand the DO style.
deaner
its reverse grip. watch the video " how to bend a challenge bar" by david horne
foggymountainmuscle
I use verticle style, I guess you could say it is the true reverse style. After the initial kink I go into old terminator style because the range of motion is only so much. I'm working on the grade 5 now but I plan on doing the red this way. Kurt Lane
I kinked my G8 at the GGC Double Underhand... That suprised me quite a bit.
Octogen
I was bending terminator style up to the point where I bent a couple of medium 60d nails in October. Then I had a crack at the grade 5 terminator style but coludn't kink it. Then tried it DO and it went. I'm still bending a bit terminator style but for the tougher bends I'll work the DO style
Svedberg
Reverse style here, put a very small kink to a rednail as my best
Gripper42004
I bend with every style.I want to bend a Red with all of them.
foggymountainmuscle
That's awesome Tommy. I think if your goal is wrist strength in bending that you should train many different styles. I myself train about 6, well 7 if you count behind the back, which is more of a stunt than a style.
Big Steve
Underhanded 5 3/4 red is my best.

SqeezeMasterFlash
I've always used underhand, and was up to a 240k challenge bar.
Jedd Johnson
This is reverse, or "terminator," style. Reverse Style -Jedd-
FrankyBoy
I'm using DU. Nice symmetrical exercise for the wrists. I wonder how far do you guys usually prekink the DUT before switching to DO?
