neilkaz
This new guy here has 10 grippers. Store bought (maybe like a HG 60 would be) HG 100 HG 150 (people say this is like the trainer)(my wife is 1/16' away from close) HG 200 (perhaps a .9 or .95 just a tad easier than the 2004 #1 and HG's new closer spacing (2.5 in rather than 2.75) IM #1 (all IM's are new 2004's) IM #2 HG 250 (this one is the older wider spacing (same as IM #2) and is maybe a 2.05 or 2.1) HG 300 (about a 2.5 and an ideal gripper to help train towards the 3) IM #3 IM #4 (dream on Neil, but I'll use this for NC's to go for the 3 once I can close the HG 300 reliably (although I'll need a 3.5 as well to train)) ..neilkaz.. zpf
Hi, I have got to ask, how many different types of grippers are there? I am not familiar with the two letter abbreviations. How do they rate against each other? I appreciate that one gripper measured against another even of the same type and rating will vary, but a rough guide would help. Chris Personally I own Coc #1 , RB160, 210, 240 & 260 Although anything above the #2 at me!
Mikael Siversson
#1 PDA 302 (=easy #2) BBM (=average #2) hard #2 with filed handles easy #3 average #3 hard #3 3X BBE (two of which are custom made) 2X #4 12 in total, obviously not nearly enough. Sybersnott
My name is John, I am a gripperholic ← This describes me too! Nothing wrong with being a gripperaholic... ther are worse things to get into! The grippers are, IMHO, by far the best device to train with; they are small, inexpensive and you can take them anywhere and get a good grip workout anytime!! Sybersnott
O.K., O.K. - I'm really addicted!!! I have seven new IM's coming my way for my B-day! Had to.... I tried out a friend's new IronMind #2 and it was sssooooo sweet it gave me a cavity!! The new springs remind me of the RB's and the NEW #2's are stinky tough!... oh, it was pure music to my hands to close that tough gripper! Anyone that was thinking about getting a new IM gripper, do it now you won't be disappointed! THIS MESSAGE WAS BOUGHT AND PAID FOR BY RANDALL STROSSEN/IRONMIND ENTERPRISES, INC. J/K!! I have bought so many grippers from IronMind that Randy could now buy that new yacht that he has had his eye on thanks to me!! ttedford
Just 10 for me...in order of difficulty IM #1 (2004 filed) PDA 243 (2004 filed) IM #2 (2004 filed) BBSM (2005) PDA 262 (2005) BBGM (2005) IM #3 (2005) RB 240 (2005 just received it today and became my favorite) BBE (2005) IM #4 (2005) and the ISG of course... The COC #3 has a chrome type spring but my number #4 is just plain black spring...Just wondering if anybody has ordered from IM lately and are geting chrome springs.... The black chromed steel gripper from RB is a piece of art. I can chest crush it and it feels a lot harder than my number #3. Needless to say I will be getting the whole collection from RB and just to be complete I'll order the remaining BBs
