I have:

2 pairs of store bought grippers (One pair we've had since I can remember, the other was in a package deal with some other fitness equipment.)

PDA 280

PDA 295

I've been told that PDA doesn't make the 280 and 295 anymore, but I haven't had that confirmed to me. I like the PDA grippers the best. The spread, handle width, and knurling all feel better to me than the CoCs. I plan on getting a #3 when I can close my PDA 280 and will file my #2 when I can close it with my left.

52. (7 or so are Mag's)

I don't know what went wrong. It all went by too fast. First a set of grippers, then a set at work, then the BB's, then the old heavy grips, the new heavy grips, too many (if there is a such thing) RB's... I worked out the total cost, and it was embarassing.

I counted 452 grippers over 34 people. This means the average right now is a little over 13 grippers per person. It also means there's probably over $10,000 worth of grippers that have been sold just to the people in this thread. Crazy.

I better buy more to keep up...

We admitted we were powerless over "grippers"

I've got the 4 essential ones:

#1

#2

#3

#4

These things are very easy to train with and still gives anyone a challenge. Maybe that is why they are so addictive?

And I'm borrowing one from Strongmitts that is stamped "PDA 0502" on one handle (which I guess is the date), and on the other is stamped "185 CRC". Anyone know the significance of these second set of numbers and initials? This gripper has pretty much all of the identical dimensions of my Elite, and is a little bit easier, though much tougher than my #3's. I wonder if this is an Elite that PDA tested? But what is "185"? It certainly isn't the spring size.

By the way, it looks like I need to beef up my gripper collection. :cool
