3 to 4 times 20 rep squats is plenty in my book.

If I do them I do only 2 squat sessions a week can't handle more.

Do you increase the weight ín every workout?

Yes, I try to increase the weight every workout by 2,5kg - time will tell when the body gives up! :whistel

You mean you increase it every workout, or every week? Every workout would be too much! :cool

I'll try to incease the weight every workout (2,5kg) - we'll see when it'll be too much! :D

I only increase the weight if I reach 20 reps.

Good job Burki.

I ordered a powerrack on friday so I will be able to do some squats at home also.

The main reason I wanted the rack was to train the A.A. using lockouts and holds to prepare for the next germans.

I was in the gym at friday evening and did a full body workout.

Today I'm just sore. :blush

Restarting Gregs volume program.

Volume on the #1

Actually I started yesterday but I hadn't chalk with me so I did only one set:

Left: 37

Right: 74

On high-rep sets my pinky tends to slip off the handle, so chalk is a must for me.

Todays workout

Left: 43 PR (40->43),33 (bad set),25 (bad set),23,27,28,26

Right: 80 PR (77->80),66,62,50,47,57,53

Total

Left: 205 PR for a 7 sets session (197->205)

Right: 415 PR for a 7 sets session (410->415)

Skin burns quite evil now, I truely missed that. :D

Franky are you doing click type reps..or fuller ones on the lower grippers? When I did it..the lower grippers had wider reps and the tougher ones had less ROM.

I have used the same type of reps thoughout the whole program when I used it the first time.

All reps were about parallel.

Actually I open each gripper to the same width. For some that might be a bit less then parallel, depending on the spring geometry.

The only thing that changes is the speed with which the reps are performed. As easier the gripper is, as faster the reps are performed.

I think that way will be WAY more beneficial than the "clicks" method. I used the clicks on the tougher grippers and didn't find much transfer to either MM set or the sweep. My new program which is a hybrid of the high volume and KTA has only parallel reps.

Good job Franky!

How's your squating going on burki?

I had two severe migraine attacks since Tuesday... so if I'm going for squats now my head will explode!

I'll go for 20x90kg on Sunday or Monday! (and I'll do all the reps btw)
