JohnOBrien Posted November 2, 2004 Share Posted November 2, 2004 Well, I finally found some 7"x5/16" G5's yesterday. This morning I wrapped one up in my trusty leather pads and had a go at it. Barely managed to kink the thing. Bent it to about 10 degrees over a pipe and had another go. Only moved it to about 25 degrees and then it froze. I now have a new goal and something to train towards. This is going to be fun! P.S. Clay, I have a whole new level of respect for your bending ability. I tried one last night on video but could barely kink it too; I really need to be rested and "on" to get one bent. I think the kink is the hardest part. If you can get it to 45 degrees, the rest should go, but you have to push on the ends like you're trying to push-start a brontosaurus. Not really springy, but real reluctant to move.
