Attempted some pinching, didn't feel too hot.  Decided not to push it.

Bent a 60 penny nail.  Then tried 2 taped together.  Managed to kink the 2 nails, but had to take them apart and bend them one at a time.

Pinch

Tried to do some negatives with 3   45's, held together on a bar.  I picked it up with 2 hands, planning to slowly lower it to the ground with one.  I couldn't make myself let go with the "off" hand.

tossed 2 (25's) hand to hand, 16 catches each hand

Hands felt strong today, either beacuse I rested a little longer than usual between sessions, or because the tosses are working.

Tossed wide 25's hand to hand, 6 passes.  

127 was pretty hard, I guess I got it about halfway "up."  I feel like I'm making good progress, amd I'm pretty happy with that lift.  For the next few weeks I think I'm going to drop the weight down, and concentrate on a few longer holds, maybe 45 seconds to a minute.  While doing this I'll try for heavier weights on the 2 inch bar deadlift.  Also, I'll keep up the tosses.

I'm not sure of the weight of the bar, so I won't include it.  It's about 4 feet long, but hollow, pretty light, but just long enough that the balance is a little akward.

A good one today.  Inspired by the pictures of the Sorin's I decided to try some 2 finger pinching.

90x1, 2 fingers.  managed to pull it up with right, but not left.

132, just barely broke it off the floor.

wide 25's, tossed back and forth, 14 catches each hand

35's, passed back and forth, 12 times each hand

Another good workout today

1 Hand Deads on Olympic Bar

250x1, had to use right hand to control descent of left handed attempt.

275x1, had to use left to control it on the way down.  Broke off ground with left.

Pinching

Passed 25's hand to hand for 5 minutes.  First few holds were about 45 seconds long, the rest got gradually shorter.

Heath also pinched 25's for just short of a minute with his right.  He also just missed pulling a pair of 45's off the ground.  He should get it this week.  He also wrist rolled 175 pounds, a good 25 pound jump from last week.

A good session for everyone.

Scott, just when I am thinking to myself "what else in the pinching world is left for Scott to conquer" you start timing in MINUTES.

I don't know if I could pass a 5 lb plate for 5 stinking minutes. Great work to both of you, I wonder which one will be more excited when Heath rips those 45's off the floor?

Well, it's the first, and no 150 today.  Hands have felt kinda shitty lately, and I've not really done much since early last week.  Had a so/so session today.

Messed around trying to lift a plate by the hub.  Heath was able to lift, and do a brief hold with a 45.  I was impressesd.
