Guest
Sunday, December 16, 2001 Today I improved a bit everywhere, except plate pinches. I find that after my master attempts, my strength in that hand for grippers is exhausted dramatically no matter how long I rest. First time doing wrist curls. Trying to figure out what weight to use. They hurt my wrists A LOT! So I stopped. Also just starting with hammer leveraging, which doesn't hurt my wrists too much. T:10 per hand #1: L-10, 7, 8 R-10 Master: R-paper width away, and held for about 7 secs, parallel on second attempt #2: R-3 (tired right hand) Softball Deadlift L: 20x10 (secs), 35x3x3x2x7 R: 20x10 (secs), 35x4x6x4x4 Plate Pinches with 25's. 2 7/8" wide Fingertip Pull-Ups (5/8" ledge) 7, 12 DB Wrist Curl L: 20x10, 35x10 R: 20x10, 35x10 Hammer leveraging front and back at different positions with a 6 pound sledge. Guest CalvinP
HI Can you tell me what is softball deadlift? And for wrist curl, I know a pro armwrestler (world champ) who can do that using 200 pounds dumbell, but he used a very short range movement for strength training. I think if you use full range movement it 'd build your muscle better than making it strong. Mainly because the less weight you use! 200 lbs dumbell would break my little wrist however... long or short range!
Guest
To make a softball deadlift apparatus, you need a: softball 6 or 7inch long nail loading pin drill pliers Step 1. Drill a hole through the softball with a diameter slightly less than that of your nail. Step 2. Hammer nail through the hole. Step 3. Bend the part of the nail sticking out of the softball into a teardrop shape with pliers. Thats all, now just load up your pin, attach the softball, and lift from the top, with the center of your hand at the point where you hammered the nail in. Great workout, and lots of fun.
