Guest Scott Clayton
We tried out our new thick handled revolving deadlift handle today. We made it last night with some parts from Home Depot. It is 2.5 inches thick. We made 50 pound jumps. We each pulled 150 with both hands. I managed 200 with my right, but 225 stopped me cold. We'll probably get more exact numbers next week. After that we pinched hex dumbells by the ends. We both lifted 45 pound dumbells, did some holds with 40's, and cleaned 35's.

Guest Scott Clayton
InchDisciple, We bought on piece of pipe, 2.5 inches in diameter, and about 7 inches long, and a second piece that fit loosely inside the first piece, about 7.5 inches long. The smaller piece sits loose enough in the bigger piece that it can roll easily. We then ran a chain through the inside of the smaller piece, and hung weight of the chain. We may change make a few changes, but we'll try to get a few pictures soon.
Guest InchDisciple
It sounds like my homemade Rolling Thunder handle . I made mine from a piece of 2 3/8 '' PVC pipe from Homedepot ,a smaller diameter pipe , and some chain . I was able to lift as much as 255 # on this . When I purchased the real thing from Ironmind I was only able to lift 195 #
