Friday 8/31

My first day back from 20 months of injury.  I stuck to warmup weights because I don't feel the need to rush back into a doctor's office.

Flat Bench Dumbell Press:  6 sets, 12 reps, 45 lbs. each

Squats: 5 sets, 20 reps, 180 lbs.

Incline Bench Dumbell Press: 5 sets, 12 reps, 45 lbs. each

Hammer curls: 4 sets, 10 reps, 35 lbs. each; 2 sets, 5 reps, 45 lbs. each

Tricep extensions:  5 sets, 12 reps, on a machine so the actual weight is a mystery

I felt like I was made of wood on Saturday, but it was the such a great feeling to be back in the gym.  Wednesday I should be recovered enough to do a modified shoulder/back workout.

I am currently 1/4" from the #3 and I will work in a bunch of grip on my next workout.  I got this close to the #3 without weights, so I expect to make some headway and possibly close it by X-Mas.

How dare YOUUUUUUU!  Haha.  I am doing back work today, we'll see how the #3 goes tonight.  After about another week (maybe less) I will be ready to stop doing warmup sets and get into the game once again.  I'll post progress tonight.

9/5 Workout

More warmup sets, but yesterday I did back and shoulders.  I'm not too sore today, so some good progress is expected soon.  Nothing new on the #3 yet...
