  1. Hola grip and bending peeps. After a long layoff, I just started becoming physical active again. I look forward to reaquainting myself with the board members. Hope this finds you well. - Nate

  3. The 4 yo and I did some farmer's carries in the back yard of sand and despair. Slightly uphill. I got 500 and the boy got 42 lbs on his first ever try!

  4. Thanks, coach programmed 6 reps in as many sets needed And cubic yard is how they're sold here. This flow chart might help. Technically a volume but I think if you look under distance/not height/not long/for work it fits!

  5. Well this was and definitely will be my last good bend for a little bit. I gotta say the kink in singles was definitely tough but this bend was a good step in the right direction.

  6. Real working sets from today. About 70 lbs off at the bottom, slack at the top.

  7. I like my scotch single malt and at least 30 years old. Oh, I'm sorry. There were rules? Must have missed that.

  8. My typical DL workout doesn't look much different than yours. Low reps - low volume - and low frequency. Once a week DL (Sumo) working up to what I would call a 90% or so daily one - three - or five rep max and once a week bodyweight Glute Ham Raises supersetted with Ukrainian Dead Lifts on tall boxes - light KB - and high reps. It seems to be slowly letting me build back up.

  9. Eric, you still got it! Enjoyed looking through your training log here. I have taken a long hiatus from heavy lifting and gripping but have made a come back in the last 6 months, working out with my son (9) and daughter (12). I am living in NJ, we are about 2.5 hrs from York Barbell in York, PA which was helpful in setting up my garage gym. Good to see you here. Chris Caffery

  11. Agree.. I would not want the one pictured. IMO the moving arm simply must be in the fingers.

  12. Looks like a replica of an PDA Gripinator. A company from long ago. This one in your picture doesn’t look as much like it because it seems this one you have to push closed like an Iron Mind Hardy Hand Shake and do a negative. The PDA one, I believe, let’s you have your fingers on the lever-arm handle. Much more useful...IMO.
