    Well I mostly went light last night. Did pretty good until someone started asking me about the grippers I had laid out. The guy was aware of how hard grippers are and I think might have peed himself a little when I closed a #3.5 for him. He actually videoed it and put it up on instagram hahaha 3/20/2019 BW - 289# Squats - 5x bar, 5x 135#, 10x 185# Bench - 5x bar, 5x 135#, 5x 175#, 5x 205# Grippers - RH only #Tx 10, 8x #1.5, 5x #2, 5x 134#, 5x 149#, 1x 149# (20mm BS), 1x 169# (20mm BS), 1x 149# (20mm BS) Saxon Pivot Top (1H and 2H) 1HP LH - 1x 75#, RH - 2x 75#, 3x 2r x 85#, 2x 95#, 2x2x 100#, 2x 1r x 110#, 0x 115# (did not lock out) 2HP - 3x 175#, 3x 210#, 3x210#, 1x 235#, 3x 235# Grip work on Prototype DB Rows - RH only 2.4" handle Inch loadable - 5x 120# Therabar Tyler Twist elbow rehab. 2x 12r Ice water soak both arms

  2. Shhh Anton, we were dancing on the edge of impressive with those pulls, we don't have to tell them it was Nate's special sauce and not us ... But seriously, Nate's implements are really ideal. I love working out on them.

  5. I'm one of the strange people where my combined 1HP (116 RH, 103 LH) is barely less than my 2HP (227)....hoping I can get that to change here in the next few months.

  6. I think I might try to tackle the ironmind red double underhand on David Hornes page. Have you tried this yet?

  7. I will hopefully get a chance to try this when we come down. If I like it, I may convert my Saxon bar to this to save some space.

  9. The counter torque increases the normal forces on each side of both hands, that's why most people can lift more than 2x their single hand. It's still the same coefficient of friction, it just simulates a higher clamping force in each hand.

  10. That swiveling 2x5" pinch block looks great Aaron - I had the pleasure of getting some pulls in on Nate's FBBC 2x5" saxon bar this Saturday with Vinnie and a bunch of the other guys and its definitely the most comfortable pinch width I've ever used - also got around 205lbs too which is the most I've ever pulled on any two-hand pinch lift period - part of that is also Nate's grip shrine's magic seasoning imbued on any object that lives in there - definitely looking forward to training on this width regularly - you clearly know what you're doing good sir!

  12. So I made my own RGC rating device and tested it out today, pretty I tried to copy cannons rating process as close as I can. The only main difference was the strap, mine is 3/4" and I placed it at the end of the knurling on the handle where the two handles would touch. All of the grippers were clean and oiled as well. Also all of the weights, pin, strap, carabiner, and PVC spacer were all placed on a calibrated scale on a hard surface Here's some photos of it along with my numbers Vs. Cannon's. Me Cannon CoC S 40 37 GHP3 72 74 CoC #1.5 83 84 Master 91 95 GHP4 95 97 CoC #2 102 102 CoC #2 104 106 CoC #2.5 120 122 CoC #3 135 139 As you can see my numbers are the same or a bit lower, I'm wondering if it's my process or if its because these grippers have seen a fair amount of use since his ratings. Currently I have three un-rated tettings that I plan on rating and then send to cannon for co-rating. Any way’s I just thought I would share and I don't plan on submitting any of my own numbers to the RGC thread for sometime.
