  1. Past hour
  2. Updated the original post. Looks like there are 3 credit card versions, and 11 packaging versions (that we know of so far).
  3. Today
  4. Also noticed that the '02 has no 'hang hole' at the top, while the '04 and all subsequent packaging have hang holes, as well as the square '02 package.
  5. Version 2 CoC card arrived in the mail today. It's copyrighted with 2010 on the back. It came with this older model CoC 1.5 on the eBay listing. The knurling is noticeably sharper and darker/shinier. Guessing it also comes from this same time period (2009-2014ish). @Alex K had a good thread about the knurling change. I thought there was also another thread on the board about the CoC gripper timeline history, but I couldn't find it.

Huge adjustment, the lack of sleep is the biggest one. However, I think having him around has given me the drive to get past that

HORN Hit my warm ups at +90, +105, +120/1 BH LH +125/ 4, 2, 1, 1 RH +122.5/ 3, 1, 2, 1 Hands were shot today…nbd I think doing grippers instead of horn a few days ago caused this. Either way, time to keep on going and not let it get to me! Have a wonderful evening
  8. Amazing! Thanks guys for the excellent info and photos. @Alex K that is some great documenting. No need to give me any credit for anything. I just made a topic is all, because I find it interesting. Maybe wait on the video until all the info is documented fully.

    FoA’s Bending, Feat’ing & More

Thanks man! I don’t really have wrap ADD, it’s always leather over cordura except for easiest warmups and when I say otherwise.

Amazing power brother!!! You should mention the wraps you use. I try to for my sessions but I'm not gonna lie I forget to.

    FoA’s Bending, Feat’ing & More

Heavy and Almost Volume Bending Day This was the big setup session for Horrido 6.5” 10.9 cert attempt next Monday, so of course there was a million obstacles, including hardass steel Warmups maybe lacked some pop but nothing to get in a fit over then it was onto 2-3 170mm R O-1 bends and 2-3 170mm Edgins. First R bend went smooth enough although not the smoke show of last weeks somewhat shorter R. But then parent ESP or something must’ve gone off and I went full rush just to the next R, just re-sliding the wraps from the previous bend and taking no rest (at the time I was justifying it that I’ll need to be ready for 5 straight hard minutes against the 6.5” 10.9) … and alas despite the bend going fine enough I was starting to get slowed down by the crush et voilà off goes the baby monitor. I stretched the kiddo a bit, but it was too tough a spot to be able to get it finished before getting him. After a little rest to fetch him, I relocated to the basement gym(I typically bend in the garage) and tried like hell to get that R moving again and finished off. It was a long slow process but eventually the last two cm gave way and I was able to complete the bend and call it the isometrics for the session as well After fighting that battle I didn’t fret about leaving it at 2 R’s and moving onto the 170mm Edgins. I don’t have clamps in the basement gym so I foot rolled three cut Edgins in a row!!! First one felt like air after the R crush, but the by the third one I was getting pretty worn out and got it quite off center, but I had flashbacks to the R crush and in an effort to avoid a repeat I just overpowered the little guy and got it done (if it got properly stuck I’m not sure I had another war in me). Next up (and last up since I counted the second R as an iso finale as well) was barehand 7” C drill rod. But I was unable to muster any power and only had a bit of wobble after two hits so threw on 1/3 imps and took it down while trying to emulate my barehand style. That was a steel bending session!!!!!!!

    Physical Grip Board/ Wall?

This is my "grip board" "grip wall?" Storage of most of what I currently have for grip that makes sense being on a wall would love to see others. I apologize if there is already a thread.
  16. Here is a front and back picture. Man, I wish I had not gotten rid of this one. Of course this is the case for about every gripper I have ever sold.
  17. Yep, that was mine. I sold it to Vitalik Sevko. Funny you post this, as I was just recently contacting Vitalik about getting it back. I am not sure where this picture came from, as the package was more gray than it appears here.
  18. Found an old pic of that package I mentioned where the IM writing is less visible! Fun fact: I still have that #2.5 from that package and I’m regularly using it! Knurling back then was amazing. The package difference becomes very obvious when compared to a modern package. An example of a video with one is Vano’s #3 cert from around that brief time when they were around. Check it out! Also, here’s the other 2002 package I was missing containing a #4 (found the pic online): I think this one belonged to @Brett H

    Bending+Training Log

A lot of people joke about that type of thing lol. I'd like him to bend stuff, but as long as he is happy and healthy I don't care what his hobbies are. But I will start bending in front of him to try and encourage him

  23. So the next question is whether anyone has photos of these even if they’re not of ones in their own collection?

Back on the board after a long break. Curious if the Colorado scene has grown. Also a bit overwhelmed by the number of companies selling gear now.

  26. Here are some infos that I have gathered along with some nice photographs! From right to left we have a Single Stamp, 02' Double Stamp, 04' Double Stamp, 05' Double Stamp and modern design CoCs (with better knurling) from 06', 09' 12' and 14'. There are a total of two missed packages here - the square 02' package where the gripper was placed diagonally, and the early 14' package with the "IronMind" writing much more faded. I had one of those but tossed the package away after some time. The 05' GR8 double stamp was actually opened by me too, something I couldn't resist doing a while back Here are some close-ups of the very old ones: Single Stamp (1995-2002), same package was used on Silver Crush grippers I believe. The very old ones actually said "Silver Crush": A favourite of mine, the 02' Double Stamp, this one particular gripper is also called the "Samuelsson #4" (2002): A slightly different package for double stamps with the CoC writing on the handles from 2004 (the text placement on the back is also very different): The GR8 double stamp package looks quite similar to the white packaging used on the first "modern design" CoCs, but is also slightly different! Obviously, no 1.5 2.5 and 3.5 yet!

Mon 22/4/24 Axke 40k x 3,60k x 2, 65k 5 x 2 Pinch Block 10k x 1, 15k x 1, 17.5k x1, 18.75k x 1, 20k x 1, 21k x 1 lh broke floor rh x 1, 22k x 1 rh, 22k x 1 rh l, 23 x 1 rh, 24k x 1 rh. Worked out at 27.15k on the scales. COC trainer 3 lh / rh Quick sess after work. Got in a couple of events from comp. Axke is tricky at the min as my arthritis in my rh is giving me grief. Every time I put the axle down it hurts my hand. Minor set back I reckon. Pinch Block is slowly improving. Got base numbers so time to right a proper plan. COC Trainer is awful. I struggle even with the trainer . I am going to put some work in on grippers as I want to eventually close a 3 , a life time away. Going to do my weights in the morning. As I say just a quick sess as I got roped in to gardening duties. Actually enjoying grip training . Can’t wait to learn enough to have a bit of a clue lol. Cheers
