It's not "a" grip feat but I'm not as impressed by any single feat as I am with dominating something like a giant "Medley" that includes a number of what are "stand alone" highly impressive grip feats done non stop in a short time frame. Many include many feats that would be World Class by themselves. I can only imagine the Medley it would take to stop someone like Carl.

I checked and you are at a very high level to be 4mm from 2.5 in such a short time; vari say you have high potential and I rely on your forearms and the jit jut su ;; you already have a huge grip before even starting so.....

Going to use 4 week mini cycles and then rest, then repeat. I’ll try to cut volume and add intensity as I go. Have a great day.

Just to put this into perspective, average coc3 is 148, average ghp10 is 259. So to have a GHP9 as your 1RM, this makes a coc 3 57% of your 1rm. So just for the average person to picture the difference, if you can close a 100 rgc coc 2 as your 1rm, 57% of that would be like a 57 rgc coc trainer So a CoC 3 to Carl, is like a CoC trainer, to the average guy here that can close a CoC 2. Think about that

Sorry to hear that, Morgan. Was looking forward to a little friendly competition between you, Vinnie, and me for unofficial 50+ bragging rights. For what it's worth, it's fun reading about your arm wrestling training and competing. Wishing you continued success in the sport! -

All great workouts -
Gotcha, if you like that kinda stuff, there's a vid on YT of grip legend Paul Knight throwing around some 45lb plates with a pinch, then catching them with a pinch again if I remember correctly. It was fun to watch, though I can't seem to find it right now. Cool guy, super humble + super strong, haven't seen him around for a while.

No doubt the GHP10 cert ranks as most difficult feat accomplished. Heaviest gripper I have is CoC 3 gripper so the GHP10 probably feels like squeezing a brick. As a novice to grip stuff the more oddball stuff comes of as more fun to watch since I don't have a reference for the heavy grippers but seeing odd shaped heavy objects fly around in the hand makes my monkey brain sizzle ya know?
-
Agreed, Carl is in his own class with several world records in grip, but I think his GHP10 cert is beyond a shadow of a doubt the most accomplished grip feat ever recorded amongst any human being. And it will probably be that way for a while, who knows?

In that boat now. Makes it even harder as I’m 54 not 24, like may of the guys I wrestle. I’ve been told after several months to a year (lol) that goes away. It’s no surprise all the pros have stem cell, etc treatments

The feedback was my upper arm was plenty strong, just need to work on my wrist and side pressure. Good times

I won’t be there, Doug, as I’ve trashed my arms arm wrestling lol. I asked the promoter to donate my entry to a worthy grip noob so they could have some fun. -

Workout 4/19/24: Overhead Press: 40kg x10 | 55 x10 | 60 x6 | 62.5 x4 A. Pause DB Bench Press: 55lb/side x2 sets of 10 | 60 x8 | 65 x6 B. Face Pull: 20kg x12, 12, 15 A. Fat Gripz EZ Bar Curl: 26.4kg x3 sets of 12 B. Tricep Extension, cable, straight bar: 30kg x3 sets of 12 Early morning workout (5:15-6:15AM). Not sure if it was the early morning or the fact that I adapted percentages that were meant for bench press, but I couldn't do the prescribed reps on the OHP. I was supposed to 8 at 60kg and 6 at 62.5, but that wasn't happening. The 55x10 was also really tough. I just did what I could. I'll look at the remaining weeks and see how I need to adjust things. The EZ bar curls are a little awkward with how the grips interact with how the bar needs to rotate for ergonomics, but I got a really good pump with these. -
Thanks! I was 249 a few days ago. Not bad, but about 10 less would be better I know right. I also feel super light after taking it off

Damn that’s really impressive. I like it, it’s a half vest so it’s less cumbersome. And after I take it off I feel like I’m 170lbs again haha. -
That's very good. Mine is up to only 44lbs... Yes, now I'm ~325lb with the vest + the 15kg plate on
-
My god, this is a pretty insane starting point, what’s your athletic background? You a big fella?
