This year, I forgot until Friday, December 19. I faxed an order late in the afternoon, used a credit card, etc., and crossed my fingers I would get it by tomorrow. I told my wife I figured it for chances of 60/40. 

My wife texted me. It arrived at our home an hour ago!

Side note:

My block has the Ironmind sticker on the inside and it’s holographic. I’ve noticed the new version has a matte finish sticker on the outside of the block now. Hopefully someone could help me figure out the modified this one. Seems older but is in brand new condition. 

I have the whole Olympic pin apparatus thing and loaded 135 lbs on it after warmups (I figured the whole setup is ~140 lbs). It didn’t feel too bad, and I might have had 1 more in the tank. Afterwards, I dropped to 100 lb and did timed holds.

My question is, what do you think is the best way going forward to train for maximal Rolling Thunder strength? I’ve only ever held heavy weights for a long time while doing shoulder shrugs, and I figure this is probably where my base comes from.

Also, do you think it is at all reasonable to project a potential “Crushed To Dust” certification within a year? I can already comfortably close the CoC #2 and pull hub 45 lbs.

I recently certified in the CoC 3, but I saw a lot of negative comments on my certification video with many people saying that the gripper was not closed, so I decided to post a screenshot from the close

The first Teenage Captain of Crush since Ivan Cuk in 2021, and the 12th overall.

Wondering if this certification gripper was sent out pre or post-Tiziano ruling. Is that purple tape just from Turkish customs, or new tamper-evident tape? And is the two camera angles possibly a new rule?

I have been working towards this for over a year now, and have definitely improved, so I am very happy with my attempt.

Was gonna show off and do both hands, but my right wasn't feeling it from my heavy gripper work.  I just went offhand and completed the challenge.

Now, I can spend a month or so purely on grippers and get my 3.5 cert.
