8/25/19 Did some really nice work with the wrists this A.M. 36kg (79.4 lb) KB wrist DL x 10 Very difficult to grab the horn and pull until handle is level/upright. 2nd vid is rear sledge coin lifts drop set 16lb stamped(18.7) 12(13.4) 10(12.1) 8(10.1) all lifts min. 30" done after a great rear pickaxe workout! Many think wrist flexion is everything when it comes to wrist strength which is completely wrong- all directions should be trained.
That is why you order custom stuff that you have the option of standard or olympic from small companies vs ordering from Titan or Rogue where those aren't an option. Us little guys are not "standard" plate biased 😂
Nah it's no worries. It came after, I know on my warmup there was a lift on 100kg that my shoulder felt wierd I think thats what made it irritated. Let some blood in with hanging and some shoulderpresses with light dumbbell and I hardly feel it now
I hit 205lbs on a rolling thunder not long ago but today I lifted 140lbs for 20 reps. I’ve been going up and down in weight but I think for this cycle I’ll keep with the lower weight otherwise I’ll burn out too early. I need to get the blood flowing to my forearms cuz they feel permacramped
I’ve been training on the rolling thunder as well now, it’s a current model. I have to say I find it incredibly rewarding. I want to hit 205lbs though right now I have no idea what my my 1rm would be, I just pick a weight and work on form and end up doing reps I guess, I do thumbless with my left for whatever reason. I love the Ironmind Rolling Thunder!!
