Warm ups, stretching etc Plate loaded seated row - to +60kg 3 x reps (much heavier than you would think) dumbbell shrugs - to 40kg's 3 x reps v-grip pulldowns - 3 x reps alternating plate curls - 11kg's (25lb) 3 x reps  two arm dumbbell hammer curls - to 30kg's x 8 reverse dumbbell curls - to 10kg plus two drops x reps pronation - red band x lots each arm arm wrestling - bunch of warming up and then some half hearted slow pulls (me pulling against added band tension) Arms actually feel better in terms of joints etc after the arm wrestling but was very careful, obviously well warmed up and also no rest at all other than using the other arm an getting couple sips of water so flushing lots of blood in etc

It's a great tool. Have had mine for awhile but haven't used it much due to gripper obsession. Now I'll really give it a go. No, me neither. I made that one for a few reasons. I'll probably never own an axle but I wanted something that would benefit it should I want to compete down the road. It's the same mechanics just even more difficult, so I think it will be a great tool for that. Also the carry over from axle to grippers should anecdotally be good. And I would say that while the bigger diameter taxes the thumbs more, the smaller one taxes fingers and wrist considerably more, in my experience. They actually feel very different. So using both I feel that I can get the best of two worlds. Those along with my knurled block should be great tools for 'base work' so to speak. I don't enjoy training on a million different tools. Same to you! 🙂

This is the first time I try this variation. Its fun to do, and since I have no bench, it's a good horizontal press variation

Hey man.. Nice to see others using a holle it up. Although ive not heard of anyone using 50mm it will still be taxing to the thumb on the hardest "setting" Mine is also made with a spinlock bar so i can get the plates on drum tight. Most of my plates are large diameter for the weight so the rotation is crazy.  I look forward to following your progress.

A great session. Strong lifts. I used to love floor presses years ago. Great for triceps and safe when you train alone with no rack.
