Does it have any sence to train with it? I mean in grip strength progress?

it is a great isometric, however, if you're getting 20 or 30 plus seconds with a 3... you might wanna move up to the 3.5

From my experience its not a great training tool seen that doesn't allow you to train the final part of the crush(the hardest).

It can be a funny event in competitions or while you are training with friends but nothing more.

Strapholds are a complete different world.

Couldn't you add more weight also?

Yep, if you don't feel like moving up on grippers, more weight will do the trick.

Ive found its helped me build arm endurance over lengthy holds. My shoulders feel great lol. I also think its aided with over-crushing strength. I enjoy using silver bullet strap holds in a drop set fashion. Good fun
