Yep I high hold handguns.  I have seen the after market beavertails, just seems odd having a beavertail on a Glock.  :)

its a good thing.. it helps with recoil to ride high. i do the same thing, but somehow dont get bit. your webbing must be massive, because mine is pretty meaty and i get by. mine is a gen 4 and comes with the beavertails, and i feel the same way about them. they not only look odd, but feel that way as well. and to be honest, they techinically shouldnt even work like theyre "said" to.. the beaver tail forces your hand down lower away from the bore axis so you dont get bit. which, in turn, will allow more muzzle flip. so the whole idea of the beaver tail on the glock is a catch 22 imo.

but, the gen 4s do have a much thinner grip than the previous models (so long as you havent added any of the backstraps that come with the weapon).. and since ive never even fired a gen 3 or earlier glock (with a much fatter grip) the thinner gen 4 grip may be culprit for my not getting bit. who knows.

that aside tho, you cant go wrong with a sig. they just work. and they look good. the only reason i dont own one is due to the high(er) cost of the sigs. ..most sigs anyways ($700-$1000+). ive actually entertained the idea of buying a 250 variant ($400-$500) for some time now being as im partail to the "modular" design. but if i did, id end up buying 4 or 5 exchange kits for it. lol

I own a Sig P6/P225 that was West German police issued.  My local shop got a bunch in and 2 mags, night sights, box and holster for $299 forced me to say I'll take it!  It shoots great and while I like a 9mm I like the 45 acp too hence the P220 on the radar.

I usually don't buy new guns because around here people buy them, shoot a box through them and then sell them at a massive loss.  I went to get the P220 the other day and laying next to it was a nice Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 mag, I really don't need a 4th 44 Mag but I have a soft spot for them.

Decisions.......decisions..........

interesting, very interesting. I am a bit more into vintage hand guns.  Right now I am into the revolvers for some reason.

My hands are far from huge and I got eat up by a 21, 30, 22, 23, 27 and a 19.  The only one that left me alone was a new 22.  The fat little 30 and the 27 chewed me up good.  I looked like I was a cutter after firing a couple mags from the model 30.
