Just keep on plowing away Mark. Btw have you ever rated your Vulcan spring? Apart from the different mechanics etc. Just 4 fun.

Yes I know the list. http://www.gripmonsters.fi/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1384101790&archive&start_from&ucat

My rating device can't take the V2. :(

I can say what I feel and level 15 is about as hard as my IM#1.5.

Level 18 as hard as my GHP4.

Very close to the V1 ratings from Matti.

The 10lb jump is a harder jump than I expected. :(

Glad I have the V2 to make the jump somewhat easier... I hope. :D

Yep such a 'small' jump can really stop you in your tracks. Keep it up, going strong!

Lots of people here on the gripboard seem to have closed the #2 on the first attemp. But it took me about a year to get there. So hang in there!

Mark, you tried putting a hoseclamp on your #2?

Exploding into the handles and being able to close it makes the gripper feel more 'doable'. I choked every goal gripper I have closed before actually closing it Mms or deep set.

Not so long ago I got injured so it would be crazy to think that I could close the #2 so soon after.

When I look at the past gripper training I can see that I'm booking some fast gains. This is also the first time that I focus on grippers, no other grip events. I felt that thick bar work made progress on grippers very hard.

No never tried it before. I know that George Meere did them when he trained for the #3 certification.

What do you do to protect the knurl on the gripper? Good advise I will try them.

I don't put protection under them, the knurling on that high part has not much use anyway. But I would say your best bet would some athletic tape or 'schilderstape' it leaves no sticky residu after removing. like I said, the best use I got from choker work was the mental feel that the gripper actually felt doable in the close. Place it in the sweet spot and explode!

I read that putting tape around the handle also helps to keep the choke into place.

Oh dude that sucks. Hope he's doing allright now. All the best.

Thnx man, appreciate it.

It sucks for a three year old who loves to run all day. But he's doing fine, we watch some movies and play some boardgames or read some books.

Oh man that's bad luck! I hope your boy is ok otherwise. How did he manage to break his leg?

Yeah it sucks to see your child in so much pain.

He collided with a boy of 14 years old (he is 3 years old) on a trampoline. His bone is fractured just below the knee.

Left hand getting a lot stronger, 5 months ago I could not close the trainer / 61lb (15mm gap) and now I closed the GHP4 / 96lb. Yeahhh!

Right hand also progress, I've never closed the GHP4 so fast. #2 gap is also closing. Won't be long now.
