David Mitti
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnod2nChqcU# After watching Kody kill the sledge just recently I had to give the walks a go. This is my first time managing a full walk with a 6# hammer with Thumb up.. Thumb up is a nice change up and a little harder...
PeterSweden
I see that you tilt it while walking. Can you do it with a vertical sledge? What is be considered correct form on this? Btw, brewtal forearms dude Yeah it's definitely not the strictest form .Ideally I'm working towards a vertical walk, lot of work ahead for sure. You'll notice too at the end the movement with the fingers shortens up alot, pretty smoked by this point.. Thanks for checking it and yeah give it a go, there alot of fun! jvance
NIce! a six pound sledge is a legit walk for this drill. I'm working toward doing it with my 8lb but still got a bit to go. I like this exercise because it gets easier the farther you get (due to the acting force causing it to tilt), so the difficulty goes down as you tire which has the same effect as a continuous drop set.
barbe705
I think tilt is ok as long as you don't swing or jerk it up.

Thanks Jon!! The 8# Hammer would be killer with this, can't wait to see you bust it out! I think tilt is ok as long as you don't swing or jerk it up. Thanks! Wasn't sure how vertical this could be performed, it seems like some tilt will happen no matter what. So new at it I didn't want to call the rules with it. Thanks for checking it out. A little harder?! I just tried this at work, its like twice as hard dude, i walk a 10lb no problem the other way Thanks for checking it. Yeah just watched your 10# walk, very nice work!!! Finding the groove with thumb up is a big part of it too, but yeah it is definitely harder... Would like to see one from you in the future..
