Alawadhi
Okay this is temporarily pain only. I stopped training since Dec last year because of my shoulder muscle tear. But before that or after whenever I armwrestle with someone strong few times I tend to get some elbow pain for two days. Or One day. I can only assume I am not conditioning my elbows. Any advice? JoshW
I get that with grippers and arm wrestling, over time training both of these has given me tennis elbow so I had to cut them both out of my routine for now.
Shoggoth
Inner elbow from side pressure? Pound the fish oil. Keep pulling but work more on your back pressure while it's healing.

Only AW do the effect. Grippers if I overload then rarely I get middle finger pain which I guess is inflimation Inner elbow from side pressure? Pound the fish oil. I am fine now btw
Shoggoth
Warm up really well. Like Ivan says though "tendons love volume". If they're buggered though you need to heal.
1TonGun
try Elbow Revive. I bought it last time I had tennis elbow or elbow tendonitis (whichever), and it cleared up within a couple weeks. pretty cheap supp and good for overall joint health. the key is to address the issue before it turns into tendinosis. rest if possible, ice, a supplement like elbow revive, and reverse wrist curls work the best in my opinion.
climber511
James Retarides is the guy to talk to about AW questions.
David_wigren
From what I understand, using alot of side pressure often leads to pain in the elbow, especially for beginners. Personally I like being able to pursue many different strength goals at the same time. So when I arm wrestle I try to use as little side pressure as I can (almost none). And so I have avoided the "tooth ache" in the elbows that alot of beginner arm wrestlers get. It might hurt my strength at the table. But I'd rather build up the side pressure slowly over time and not have to deal with all the pain and elbow issues. Detroit Iron4
I've been dealing with some recent tendon pain, found out from others and research that rest and a slow build up of high rep light weight is needed to strengthen the tendons and joints. Don't over load or build weight too fast or injury will happen more and more often.
