Looks like a good competition. I did notice a discrepancy in the 83k class where #2 seemingly closed a harder gripper than #1?

Maybe you can send Aaron a message so he can direct a volunteer (I think they have a designated volunteer for this) to enter the competition data?

I am not sure if one event competitions qualify for the top 15 lists. Best to ask Aaron.

Where was the competition held?

Based on the video most of the competitors would close harder grippers if they did not hold on to the block while setting the gripper. Much better to leave it on the table and pick it up once the gripper is set. I am personally not too fond of the practise of keeping the block in the mouth while setting the gripper during competition (as has been done elsewhere). As much as I love my fellow competitors I would rather exchange saliva with someone I am a bit more familiar with.

We have requirements for sanctioning and getting results added. If the proper channels were followed, they can be added. We don't always know when comps are taking place in all corners of the globe though.

I would be grateful if these modest results get into rating NAGS!
What should I do for this?

We have guidelines up in this forum for sanctioning, and as far as I can tell they weren't followed.

But I could be wrong, so I'm not making the sole decision on this. Kashtan, please write a PM to Aaron Corcorran, Brent Barbe, Eric Milfeld, Chris Rice, and myself and we can discuss it.

The NAGS committee has discussed and we have agreed to let this contests events be added to the rankings that we track.

This is a one-time deal, to let it be added after the contest already ran. PLEASE be sure to notify us properly 30 days ahead of time for future contests.

Thank you.

Was this a one-event contest? If so, we could have a problem here. A contest is supposed to have at least 3 events to be recognized.

I explained this to him via PM about a week ago.

Eric,

Are you getting the notifications from the NAGS forum? We discussed this there, also, but never heard from you on it.

Thanks,

Jedd

For this particular discussion I didn't receive any. I've received some in the past, though.

I confirm that discipline alone.
If this complexity to accommodate the results in a rating , I am very sorry I took your time.

The rules themselves are not terribly complex but they need to be examined beforehand.

It a quality control that adds credibility to the top 15 lists.
