First two hit attempts hurt so I had to re adjust position to make it bearable. The further bent it gets the less pain IMO For me it's almost the other way around. Kink is little to no problem for me. The 90 degree down to 3" is the hardest part where the ends just dig into your palms. Me and Teddy Kranis were racing to do a Shiny this way back in 08-09. Not on the sharp bottom ends. But on kink those ends dig in. For me anyway. But I've only done the L not red so will see how that goes.
