I've done 350 before. I'm almost there now again. I actually haven't back squated in 91 days so I'm happy with two sets of 8 with 315. And he has the pad on the smith bar and gloves on. been lifting a long time Josh. It will be 20 years this fall. Plus I've taken no shortcuts. Long slow journey. If I start squating regularly I estimate much better things. When I first front squated it was around 2002. I was able to do around 5-6 reps I think with 135. Stephen Ruby Posted June 22, 2015 Share Posted June 22, 2015 Very strong! I just started squatting again after over a year lay off due to injuries and issues. I'm doing purely front squatting due to less strain at the moment so this is good motivation! My ideal magnus samuelsson also did mainly front squatting as well and I feel it really hits the entire core much more then the back squat for me at least.
