Is this the same as doing a 135 two hand pinch? Or is it different?well... Yes AND no. Yes, the weight is the same, but its much wider than any 2hp device. And the center plate really tries to run away on you, so you have to squeeze a little harder to make up for the loose plate. And given the wider width, it makes it just a tad harder to hang onto. I'll say this...I was able to lift 155 on an official Euro the first time I ever tried one (135 is fairly pedestrian for 2hp depending on your baseline strength)....I just lifted 192 on my pinch block at home the other day...and I still can't pinch 3 45's like this. Maybe its the width or the slickness of the loose plates or a combination of several things Tommy pointed out but for whatever reason it continues to elude me. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I heard it repeated as gopel for years.I finally asked Kaz about the truth in this he laughed and said" not in this lifetime". I would have at least expected a correction or perhaps a shallow apology for your less than respectful words about me.
