Old Dax
There is a guy on ebay offering an RGC service. His phrasing look very similar to CPW, (Cut & Paste?) Know nothing about him, possibly he's on here? see link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rgc-Ironmind-Captains-Of-Crush-Hand-Gripper-Heavy-Grip-Baraban-Calibration-/271909388576?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3f4f100120 I thought it was for an RGC device at first... then I read it.

A 22mm circumference will give you a 7mm dia. gripper!
Autolupus
...and by the location and name I'm guessing this is radders112.
Sam Radford
Yes it is me and thanks for pointing out the error lol. The details are based off the CPW as it explains the process very well. I've finally got it all setup and ratings are consistent so trying to offer my services to others in the UK who find it expensive to send out of the country for rating
Old Dax
Radders, have you calibrated the plates, or do you go by plate value or weight he whole damn lot; on what type of scale?
Sam Radford
Radders, have you calibrated the plates, or do you go by plate value or weight he whole damn lot; on what type of scale? I don't use weights, I tried in the beginning but was too labour intensive to do so ended up getting a crane scale with a hand winch and it works perfectly. Small amount of force to turn the handle and readings are accurate after around 20+ closes
Old Dax
Well thanks to Radders112 I now have 20 rated grippers. I sent the lot and he RGC'd them and returned them all within less than a week. Great service Sam! There were a few surprising results but all believable! Comparing his results to CPW there was a slight difference of 2-5lb under CPW figures, no saying who is 'right' or what the limit of error would be. I would not hesitate in recommending Sam to RGC grippers if you live in the UK.

Liam Trott
It would be great to have something like CPW set up in Europe. It's a great service. Most grippers cost quite a lot to get here unfortunately.
