Really incredible it looks like a very hard heavy grip 250 and certainly not a gripper that could potentially be harder than a coc 3 ... I'm still mad at not being able to buy the 136. Hi Maiche Hows the progress coming.. Im getting real close to closing my strong regular 3 and my Filed 3. And training with negatives and at no set attempts with my Coc4s and GHP 8 and Coc 3.5s :). Ive been adding grip strength training and some strongman training to my martial arts and exercises for about 1 yr 10 months now. Please post updates my brother when next on. And congrats thats is a strong gripper that GG 5 :).

So far I can close the 1.5 with the CPW bumper at max for 15-20+ reps and No Set close the Coc 2.5 for reps on a good day with both hands(lol I want to get to a point where hopefully the 2.5 gets as easy as the 1.5) and I can NS to parallel and force negative assist the handles further with my other hand to near close got about an inch or two with my Coc# 3.0 filed RGC 157 and then i take the assist hand off and hold it with either my right or left by itself(My right is stronger than the left by a bit) for 25-40 secs. And my ghp 8 RGC 179 I can get beyond parallel and about a finger width or 2 inches -3 inches to close. I know negs are dangerous but I dont use leg power and hands to force a close , so I find this type of negative training less dangerous. Just my hands and I notice we can give our legs a workout by stepping fwd into the close or close attempts as well. My Coc 4 RGC 205 I can get to just about parallel sometimes and hold for 25-30 plus seconds on my attempts and negatives :). Hopefully in 2022-2024 I will see closes on my filed Coc#3 , My Regular #3, GHP 8 , my two Coc 3.5s and maybe both or come close..LOL on the Coc4s. Also you will be conquering that 2.5 or 3 or better Jared. Coc 4s are no joke. My unrated one feels way stronger than my cpw Rated 4. So I estimate this Coc4 is around a 220-225+ RGC gripper. Awesome! I enjoyed reading about your progress. Sounds like I train in a similar manner to you, always attempting heavy grippers and long holds. Thanks for the encouragement! I'm determined to one day close my 219 CoC 4 even if it takes 10 years of training. Have no doubt you'll close and certify on the CoC 3 one day!

I think that is key in not giving up. Alot of our brothers and sisters in strength give up if they still cant get that close or not moving a gripper enough and they have been at it for 2-4+ years. Grip and strength fanatics have to realize everyone is different and sometimes it takes a wee bit longer but we can get the job done Jared. Just got my first GHP10 from amazon on the way to me my brother, looking fwd. to seeing if I can do some negatives and good attempts on that one. Agreed mighty attempts on our goal grippers will indeed help us to get insanely stronger(And of course always pray for health and strength first of course ) . I also agree with most on dangers of using legs or devices for extreme negatives your not ready for and I will never use legs. Less danger and your building strength with you own power even if it takes more time with close attempts and negatives and I feel that is definitely the key to keep getting stronger without any major injury. Also I like Nathan Holles thing on resting as long as you need between Grip training days if experiencing hand or joint pain and using herbal or msm creams on the hands and forearms and not washing with soaps and chemicals right away after grip or strength training . I usually rest 2-4 days if it was a heavy gripper session before I attack em again or use light-to moderately strong grippers sometimes if sore. Ivan Cuk likes to warm up and stretch fingers real good with the Finger strength bands. I find this helps along with some fatgrips on the dumbells or other before I start on my grippers. I also try to do those finger bands on off days to help limber up. I wish Amazon had the option of getting rated grippers, but I will eventually get some rated GHP 10s from my favorite and main strength tools and gripper company CPW as well so I can gauge and train with different elite GHP10 RGC strength ratings. I cant believe gripmania on youtube tested one Jared at 295-300 lb RGC. Wow If god and jesus wills it in time we may have no limits what we can close. And agreed I will keep at it too even if does 5- 10 years or more :).. Lets get it... DId you get the ironmind blockbuster pinch block one arm deadlift as well my friend? Its great for strongmen, mt climbers, armwrestlers, and grip strength fanatics I train with that and use 42-60 lbs up. Lets Get Stronger for 2022-2023 and beyond Jared. NickG1184
Hi everyone, yestarday morning I just picked up my welder and some steel left over from other my old works to build up my simple RGC rating device. In the afternoon I proceeded to rate my little gripper collection. Here the result: I think results are quite reliable, as GBI G5 and G6 where pre-rated with same value I measured yestarday. In any case I found a Coc2 and 3 a bit over average, same for the HG-300. HG250 is completely out of range due to too deep (and bad) filing. I need more grippers because there are over 30 lbs of gap Edited July 11, 2022 by NickG1184
