Cannon
Rumors are that Tetting and his sons developed this gripper because the Russians needed something harder than the World Class to chest crust! http://cannonpowerworks.com/collections/tetting/products/grip-strength-tetting-thor http://cannonpowerworks.com/collections/tetting/products/grip-strength-tetting-thor-ext

Cannon
What is the spring size? Is it between a WC and Galaxy? I'm not positive about the galaxy. It might be a renamed galaxy, I'm not sure about that. Spring size seems to be about 0.400 to 0.403.
Cannon
Why don't you rate it? Kind of gimmick? It's just too heavy for my set up. It would probably take 300-400 lbs to close this thing, I'm not really sure.

Rick Browne
Any guess as how it would rate against the Joe Kinney monster gripper?
Cannon
Rick, good question, I've never had a monster gripper to evaluate. But I am 99% sure the Thor gripper would be harder. I have to say, if the Russians are chest crushing this gripper they probably are not closing it. Here is a photo example of 250 pounds on a world class and then the same amount of weight on a Thor.
