wulfgeat
Awesome bends!!! And I agree with Frank: that double underhand bend was cool.

MANTHOS
You are already at a high level David. Both bends were effordless and in IMPs. Have you tried any doubles yet?
David_wigren
Very strong, David! Especially DU. Thank you Ben! I remember when you were bending insane and fantastic bastards DU? At least pretend to struggle a little next time Great bends! Thank you Delmar! The 7" bastard actually took me around a minute the last time I tried it. I got these bastards from Peter H. I don't know if they're all from the same batch. But if they are, I have made significant gains since the last week. I also failed a 6" G8 DU last week, but that was a bit different since I went for a strict DU that time, and this was done with a modified DU technique(which makes it a bit easier). Awesome bends!!! And I agree with Frank: that double underhand bend was cool. Thank you brother! Very nice job! Man you didn't lose much. Just noticed, Nucor grade 8s. Those are nice. Thank you Tim! I've never tried these Nucor G8's before. They look nice with the pale surface and the "n" on top.

No, not yet. I want to do the Iron Grip triathlon cert so I'm bending exclusively in IMPs.

king crusher
Nice work!! Du is something I need to try sometime. It must be mostly wrists?
David_wigren
Thanks guys! Yes DU hits the wrists more. You can move your hands closer and make it heavier on the wrists, or further out and make it more like an upside down DO.
PeterSweden
If that is a bastard u got from me, you are sick. My Im reds were much easier. I killed my reds in imps in 18 seconds but could not bend or barrely wobble the bastards in imps. I had to struggle some to get it in imp+suede even
PeterSweden
All bolts and steel are from the same package, except for maybe the shiny ones. Fbbc advanced bag. Edited September 18, 2014 by PeterSweden

Yes that is one of your bastards! I've bent three of them so far, and this was by far my fastest time! The shiny ones I suspect are from maskindelen right? It is so great to see you fired up again!! Well, the road to cert seems to be not very long!! Excellent job Thank you Ivan! I wouldn't have tried this bending stuff again if it weren't for the Iron Grip certs! PeterSweden
Shiny steel might be maskindelen but all shiny bolts are Fbbc 8mm SS in imps on vid soon? I think i wobbled on before and it came with the package to you hard shit! Impossible for me
David_wigren
I think so. It took me about 10 minutes to bend one of the 8mm ss from maskindelen (my own old stock). Hopefully I'll keep progressing and I'll post a video when I can get it in sub 5 minutes. But before that, I think I'll try some 6" 5/16 stainless I got from Ivan. It was rated 155kg at 7" so I'm fairly confident I can get it under a minute. It'll depend on how hard the crushdown is.
