Rgc Device For Less Than 15$

Hello everyone, just wanted to share the RGC device I made, I never thought that I would be one of the guys that rates their own grippers but curiosity got the best of me, being that I dont have a squat rack to build off of I decided to build a small device that could be moved easily. Using 3/4 inch black pipe that I got from my local hardware store for alittle over 10$ for 10 feet (and some that I had to "borrow" from my father) I cut 3 pieces into 22inch sections and 3 pieces into 20inch sections for the legs (made them way too short so I used books under the legs). The pipe in the middle is 10inches long and was welded 1 inch forward of the middle of the triangle so the strap on the gripper is in the middle to keep everything stable. The final touch was the two 7inch bolts to prevent the gripper from turning over (I also "borrowed" these). I put everything together with my crappy welder (a local community college that has a welding department should do it for free, that way you know its strong and has been looked over my a pro). So far I have rated most of my grippers, the COC's came out as follows

Looks good. If you use having a loading pin that allows for the horizontal loading of weight(it will look like an upside-down T), rather than the vertical loading. Then it could make it rating much easier for you.

thanks hellswindstaff, I definetly see that making my rating experience much easier, trying to load and unload 100+pounds for every gripper becomes tiresome, especially when im trying to do it on my rest days. Im definetly going to build that for my next welding assignment, thank you guys for the responses, much appreciated.
