Yikes, strong pinching.

My concern however is that this is a 0.2kg WR.

There had been past talk in NAGS about a required 0.5kg minimum, because 200g is within the realm of weight discrepancies and external differences... even with calibrated or rated weights.

Not sure what happened and if this rule was established, but please clarify as a promoter.

No probs.

By the way I have been chatting back and forth with Kody Burns over the last few weeks, and quite a bit today too.

This man is a CLASS act, who messaged me straight away to give me his congratulations!

It will be great to see Kody with a healthy shoulder again. I know about shoulder surgery, and also how tiring illness/injury can make you.

On the day I only took three attempts (no warm ups either), 109.5k, 117.81k and then 122.91k. I still had an attempt left, but my skin had tore quite badly by then and it wasn't worth going for it, and damage it further and be out of training.

I have trained 14 weeks for this, and it is part of a 40 week plan to first get the record, and now move it higher. So I'm really looking forward to more hard and thoughtful training, and hopefully more records.

I noticed in the Silver Bullet hold, calibration data for the grippers are not shown.

Was the same grippers shared around to maintain consistency.

Sam,

No, we used what #4 we had.

All mine are similar anyway, so know real biggie.

The Silver Bullet is not my event equipment, we were going to have a Thumbless Inch Dumbbell dealift and hold. But Juha fancied something else do to his Inch being a Gladiator built one, so the Silver Bullet was chosen.

I noticed in the Silver Bullet hold, calibration data for the grippers are not shown.

Was the same grippers shared around to maintain consistency.

Finnish Grippers ratings what we used this contest:

IM#2 / 47kg / 103.75 lbs / rating = 1.76

IM#3 new / 68 kg / 150.1 lbs / rating = 3.00

#4new / 96 kg / 211.92 lbs / rating = 4.05

Thank you Parris.

The workshop is after the next contest.

I will be writing everything down in the Gripopaedia book. I'd like to do a video but want it to be fresh news in the book. It's no secret that I like to dissect events, and then learn the task totally. This learning, assistance work and then hard graft and mental fortitude will get you to many goals.

Thumbs Up!
