Trust me I wish I did 33 instead of 160 as I could barely brush my teeth when I went to sleep as I ached so much, worth it though

Doing a lot of maintenance work lately as I have run out of chalk and am waiting for more to arrive.

100 thumb less pull ups in 15mins

10 rope pull ups

#3 attempts-roughly around 10 attempts

only just realised how hard this particular #3 is, feels in the high 150's

Tried some chest crushes aswell today #edit

Managed to chest crush my HG350 which is around the 170mark and repped the #3 chest crush style

Strong pull ups

Have you thought about getting some manus grips and doing pull ups with them or trying pull ups with other weird implements like ironmind hub or rolling thunder etc. Basically pull ups with more grip involvement.

Today's workout:

TNS hg250 as a warm-up

#3 attempts - 0.6 inches from closed now

120 pullups

100 rope pull ups

220 pull ups in total!

10 reps v bar 50kg

Manus did a pull up contest with the smaller version. The record was 32 reps with the regular size ones. Cannon power works sells the small size if you ever decide to get another pair but the big ones will work well also. I have the regular size ones but i still get a killer grip/forearm workout out of them when I use them. Post how many you can do with them though I'd be curious.

Today's workout:

Military press 70kg, 10reps, 5sets

Leg press 210kg for 10reps PR!

hex lift 16kg 5sets

#3 attempts.. getting so close

Seem to have gained 8lb since starting lots of pullups!

Todays grip workout was concentrating on TNS and #3 attempts, lots of PR's today.

Warmup:

HG200 with 2 fingers

3 TNS HG250

2mm of TNS HG300 - #140

Todays workout is last workout before Christmas so was just sort of a fun-ish one with some friends.

3tns reps HG250

1 rep HG350

Leg press 210kg 10 reps 5 sets getting deeper every time

Shoulder press -

1 warm up set on machine 75kg 6 reps

5 sets using two 30kg dumbbells for 10 reps

1 set using two 32.5kg dumbbells for 7 reps

40 explosive pullups lifting about 4 inches in the air at the top

As my new chalk has arrived decided to do some grip!

2 sets of 10reps HG250 as a warm up

2 sets of 1 confident rep with HG300

3sets of 1 negative with HG350

Closed HG250 with 3 fingers again

#3 attempts

Feel so much stronger using chalk again! feels like Christmas already

Progress from 25.12.12 to 25.12.13

My progress from a year ago.

HG200 6 reps - can now do 50reps

HG250 no reps- can now do 11 reps

HG300 parallel - can now do 1 rep

HG350 from not even budging it to 1 cm off

#3 from not even being able to set it to being around 1 cm off!

All in all a successful year cannot wait to be writing my progress next year :grin:

Todays workout:

Warm up 210kg leg press 3 sets 10 reps

Shoulder press:

75kg 10 reps

32.5kg dumbells 8 reps 3 sets

Fat gripz extreme pull ups 5 sets of 10 reps - 2.75/3" handle!

Just to see where I am at, did a HG300 close confidently at about a rating of 140.

Just decided to pick the grippers up today, still feeling fatigued from using fat gripz but managed this..

Warm up:

HG250 - 16 reps - smashed my PB by 5 reps

HG250 - 17 reps - smashed my PB again by 6 reps

Working set

HG300 - 1 rep

HG300 - 1 rep - overcrush

HG350 negative close - 3sets

Todays workout after painful squats the other day:

10reps fatgripz extreme pullups - 6sets.

1 set 75kg shoulder press

2sets with 2 32.5kg dumbells for 6 reps

Tried fat gripz extreme single handed cleans, makes the handle roughly 3"

Managed to clean a 25kg dumbbell with the fat gripz, my first ever attempt at this lift and underestimated the amount of wrist strength involved!

Leg press 210kg 10 reps 3sets

Shoulders:

2 sets of 10 reps with 30kg dumbbells

2 sets of 7 reps with 32.5kg dumbbells

3 sets of clean and press - not sure of the weight but felt like around 80kg, was done on machine.

2 sets of HG300 over crushes.

Grippers today:

Warm up:

HG250 -15 reps

Working set:

HG300- 1 overcrush

HG350- 1 negative/overcrush

Repeated this five times.

Can now set the coc#3 deeper down to parallel so that's improving too.

HG350 severe negatives 3 sets

#3 severe negatives 5 sets

Todays session:

Shoulders

30kg dumbells for 10 reps 2 sets

32.5kg dumbells for 7reps 1 set

Using fatgripz on the dumbells 3.25" handle

One hand cleans 22.5kg 4 reps 3 sets

One hand cleans 25kg 3 reps 5 sets

One hand cleans 30kg - halfway

Finally got round to training pinch and lever today after a year since doing it..

Have a massive pickaxe either 8 or 12# did front levers, 3 sets of 3 reps

2handed pinch did a medley of different pinch lifts:

55kg 2.6" thick concrete slab for 5 reps - lost count of how many sets I did but will upload a video soon.

Single handed cleaned 27.5kg with 3.25" handle PB!

Today:

Shoulders -

30kg dumbells for 12 reps 1 set PB

32.5kg dumbells for 7 reps 2 sets

machine shoulder press 75kg 8 reps 4 sets

Leg press - 200kg 10 reps 4 sets

HG300 - overcrush

HG350 - negative

As of today I am starting a sort of kta/high frequency training program for grippers. Over the past couple weeks I have been finding out what sort of training my body best likes and am now using this knowledge to help me come closer to my goal of shutting the HG350 and coc#3 within 2 months.
