barbe705
thursday so last night my arms were still sore from Wednesdays workout. I decided not to do anything. Then wew were watching tv and there was a shoe lying there. it was a diamond classic pl1. I unloaded on it as hard as I could. I think I wrestled with it for 5-10 minutes, I'm not sure. It bent in the slightest bit. If I sit it on a table I can slide a nickel and a dime under the one foot. So, lame new PR. I did learn several lessons though. my arms were fried from Wednesday, it kept twisting when I was trying to pull. I need to wrap better. I don't know if I got lucky when I wrapped the ultralite or if I was just able to over grip. last night the wraps were bunching up instead of getting tighter as I pulled. That didn't help any. I'm glad I tried it. I think I need to get a few in between shoes first. brent

I was pretty wasted. 10x1 coc #2 fast closes. These are getting easier and easier even though I seem to be losing strength on the harder grippers. 3x5 hammer curls with 20# blobs. barbe705
thursday warm up 5x1 bbSM left hand BBGM right. couple of closes and very closes with both hands. pretty quick between sets. Need to get more explosive with my right hand. sledge front levers 10# 5x5 choked up about 3 inches. sledge levers rear 10# 5x5 not choked. these are both feeling much stronger. sledge rotations 5x5(left then right is one rep) 8# sledge at end. pretty strict. This was the first workout I really started to feel in control of the sledge work. I haven't been bending at all since I got so frustrated with the reverse style. So I decided to start some DO so I was at least bending something. rail tie. so fast it snapped. or it was poorly made. 12 60p nails. I was shocked how easy these were since I can't remember the last time I bent. 2 grade 5 .25x6" bolts "jh" these were pretty easy. The hardest part was the pain in my hands. Which, I think is mostly from not bending anymore. I am back on the bending train. I'll hit the grade 5's for the rest of the month and then start on the harder stock I have. good night of work. barbe705
I've been bad about working out through the week and even worse about recording it. but... thursday warm up 5x1 each hand bbsm left, bbgm right. felt kind of crappy tonight 3x1 bbelite. 10 sec negs. pretty rough 3x1 coc#3 set in a hose clamp to parallel. left was weak, right were solid closes. sledge hammer work. I started doing these lying down. It eliminates almost any cheating you might do, making it a very strict movement. 5x5 front levers choked 10# 5x5 rear levers choked 10# 2x5 rotations with 8# after the first 2 exercises I had no juice left for these. bending: warmed up with a couple rail ties and a couple 60d. 6"x5/16" grade 2 DO 6"x1/4" grade 5 DO 4 rail ties DU. I'm starting to get the hang of this. I need to move up to harder stock on these. 12" spike. Very fast maybe less than a minute. 10" spike. took most of a commercial break during LOST. Felt good though, I need to move onto the 8 inch. I was hoping that the spikes would help me get better at hearting horseshoes. I think that they will. I need to pick up xome more this weekend.
