Congrats on the PR man! That kinda rep work is hell on the skin, have you considered doing volume work with gloves? Helps me get that work in without splitting the skin

Thanks Jon, I've never used gloves because I've been lucky and never gotten a skin tear, but I have been noticing that my thumb webbing is getting real callus so I might have to give it a try.

Nice work, those hand to hands will make you powerful!! Try doing hang cleans or hand to hand leading into a hang clean, the possibilities are endless and my results have been dramatic doing all these crazy variations

Want to catch the log up on my training since nationals. One thing that I really learned was that I need to work on block setting more, way more. Also I'm going to be working on good form for axle DL and holding the rep at the top for 3 sec.

Blocksetting makes one hell of a difference. It will definitely benefit you when training it consistent. I wish I had started earlier with these instead of just setting and closing thus using momentum.

Switching to doubles and singles for gripwork?

Yeah the high rep stuff let me down so I'm switching it up
