Anthony C.
Couldn't finish the crush. This was a brutal bend. I'd estimate it at around 500 or so. Oh well, just not strong enough to finish it...yet. Btw, the video came out sideways for some reason. I hate my phone Bend starts at 6 mins Edited August 22, 2015 by Anthony C.
JoshW
Kink looked so easy for you dude strong attempt! Seems like you got stuck on the transition from sweep to crush. I try sweep my bars now till at least 3.5-4" before crushing it otherwise I can't get into a powerful position. Rest a few days and try again man that was a strong bend, motivating for me to watch!
anwnate
Kinda looked like you were stuck on that sweep...a bit too early for interlock. Myself, I always find that 100-120d area to be the biggest bitch...especially at the top of my bending range. If you are not under the gun for time...I'd advise taking a couple of minutes before attempting another hit. Often that little bit of rest is enough for you to breakthrough that "sticky" zone...and get the bar moving again. If that doesn't work, you can always try and attack the bar from different angles (ala cashman). Nice attempt.
Anthony C.
Hey guys, you're right. It was the sweep that stopped me. That area right there is a sticking point for me on max effort bends. Thanks for the advice, will do!
Buccos1
Nice attempt Anthony! Keep hitting it and you will definitely get it.

Frank Pizzo
Great attempt brother! It definitely stinks to not get a bend you wanted, but I find its great motivation to push yourself to the next level and beyond. Shouldn't be long till you got this one in the bag!
JHenze646
Nice attempt! Always good to see the intensity you bring to your bends.
Anthony C.
Thank you guys for the kind words! Frank, your bends are very inspiring to me. Much respect for tackling the huge bastard. After trying the 6.5, I cant even imagine how hard it is to finish that bar off at 6. And on that note, I told EJ, I don't even know how it is possible for a human being to bend this bar at 4 inches. Mind boggling.

I've often pondered this exact thing about 4" bastards lol! Now I've just about finished off a 5.5" Bastard, and have taken a 5" to a little past 40 degrees and the result was it just left me in awe of the strength it must take to fully complete a 4.5" or 4" Bastard...very, very, serious stuff! Much respect to the benders that have come before us like Ben, Aaron, and Pat for taking down the steel they have...awesome stuff!

I can't imagine even finishing a 5.5" let alone getting a kink in a 5 inch lol You will be a legend in bending if you continue at this pace man. Also, cert the big hexabastard soon, that'll be an "easy" bend for you

EJ Livesey
Now you know what to expect. Now you also have a nice ISO bar for practice. Keep pushing and you will finish this sooner then you think. You're bending has come a long way and I'm excited to see what the future holds for you.

Going forward, I'll also make sure that the video records in the right rotation. Not sure why that happened.
