DO bending session- severely injured my anchor hand for reverse bending which is depressing me.

12 x 60D nails consecutively, one after the other- straight afterwards DO bent 6 x 5/16x6" threaded bolts one after the other

Volume session tonight! Bent nearly 20 nails and bolts one. after the other, triceps hurting!

Also DO a 128.75kg 6" CRS but was too tired to complete the bend after all the volume.

Have had a massive headache all day today and have bent nearly every day since friday but had to try the iron grip 95kg today DO.

Videod my first attempt but no budge at all. Rested for 10mins sorted out the technique and killed it! Didn't video as I didn't think I would get it -.- not happy about that.

Trying to work on my kink strength for DO bending so I adapted my workout accordingly. Slow down slow up!

Bench press

1x 60kg

1x 80kg

1x 90kg

1x100kg

1x110kg

1x120kg

1x135kg PR.

1x135kg really dep rep but failed

Bench felt really easy on 110kg and quite good on 120kg, using heavier weights definitely helps.

Iron grip 100kg bend DO Thursday time!

A week or more off from bending will get you stronger than ever!

Buy a sledgehammer and start levering it!

Days where you upper body is tired but your forearms and hands arent you can train with sledges.

Its a great warmup before bending too.

Pushups and sledge levering for warmup.

I have a 5lb sledgehammer which I will be adding weight to for levering, completely forgot about that!

Think saturday I will do some lever work then bend Monday!

I have been bending stock that's 360lbs + nearly every day for a week so I think I will definitely see some progress after some rest!

Great advice yet again Peter, thank you mate.

Once this bolt goes down the red should go down too! ;)

Created a new bench press program. Two bench workouts a week. One heavy singles and the other heavy doubles/ triples

Heavy singles session:

Benchpress

60kg x1

90kg x1

100kg x1

110kg x1

120kg x1 2 sets

140kg x 1 (3/4 reps) 2 sets

110kg x1 paused on my chest for 5 seconds then finished the rep for a warm down

Never lifted more than 300 on bench before but missed out 130kg as did two sets on 120kg - wanted to save energy for the max attempts.

Not counting the 140kg bench as didn't go low enough. Didn't crush me underneath it so I am happy!
