indiladhar
-previously no wrist pain- grip training for 5 years +.-started working at a lumber yard & continued grip training. Wrist pain began.-stopped all grip training to allow wrists to recover. 2 months later and the pain still persists, most of the time it isn't too bad but there are days (like today) where its extremely painful to bend at the wrist in any given direction. I was unable to scrunch up aluminum foil into a ball today because of it (can deep set close a 2.5 before it started)Any tips???

PeterSweden
Also you can tigh a light stretchband around your hand and around the squatcage and then pull back, making the band pull your hand out from your forearm, stretching the wrist, making the bones align. Helped me.

It can do some funny things to fingers and/or wrist. Take a few days off and stretch the thumb pad as much as you can in those few days. Take 4 ibruprofen every 4 hours. Soak your hands in an ice bucket. Don't stretch cold hands though. Wait til they warm back up so you don't do any more damage. Do this daily. Good luck. Mikael Siversson
The problem is that we take grip training to the point (ideally) where our hands and wrist are at the limit of falling apart. If you then add heavy manual labour overtraining and injury is a given.
