PeterSweden
I'd say that depression and anxiety is more common than uncommon these days. The worse society gets, the worse peoples mental status gets I guess. Hope you can win the battle all the way mate and be totally free from pain.

Anthony C.
Bro on some real stuff right now...my dad died when I was 14. I was technically obese at the time of his passing and on his deathbed I promised that I would get myself in shape and stay there. That is one promise I have never broken. I guess what im saying is that working out, to some degree, saved my life and helped me cope with his passing. You were one of the first people to offer me help when I branched out into the world of grip, and through our messages back and forth I can tell you're a genuinely good person. Train hard, and take time everyday to list a few things that you find wonderful about life, and good luck to you!

slazbob
Medication will help you. Most with anxieties are depressed... You can't help but be depressed when you're always worried. Worried about your heart, about your health. "What if" thinking...is very bad for you. I had it bad for years...early teens and early twenties. If someone had a stomach bug, and I was near them... I would worry for days if I was going to get! And much more issues. Eventually you can ease it by realizing that what you say subconsciously to yourself, is triggering a response in your body. You may not even know that you're doing it. You have to re-train your subconscious. Relaxation and training yourself can be done before bed. The Midwest center for anxiety and depression is where you should look. If you need any advice, let me know. I have been through the worst with it... And you can fix this. JoshW
Josh, you are a big inspiration for me with what you have achieved in a very small amount of time and from what ive seen, I wouldn't have even guessed that you had this but respect to you! I have had bouts of depression recently and gripping, bending etc really helps take your mind away from it all and you can begin to focus and bounce back stronger. All the best mate! Buccos1
You'll beat this. Bending IS great medicine ... as are grip, lifting, and similar pursuits too. Always having a goal to work towards will help turn the negative thoughts to positive when you need it most. Put a hurting on that steel!
