Eric Roussin
How many of these have you tried? http://armwrestlersonly.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/armwrestling-amusement-devices-best.html
Frank Pizzo
Too cool, thanks for posting such an awesome article Eric! Now let me preface by saying I'm not an arm wrestler and have never done anything more than the usual bouts with my friends, or occasionally forsome beers at the bar against strangers, but I have toyed with the Arm Champs 2 machine before. It was comical at best, on the hardest setting I smoked through every character including the bonus round robot champ character like the machine wasn't even on. I can't say if any of those other machines are actually challenging but if a "non-armwreslter" like me can slam down the Arm Champs machine in about 1 second flat on its hardest setting, an actual armwrestler would probably break it off lol!! Eric Roussin
This is my recollection from when I tried Arm Champs II about 20 years ago. But other machines, such as the Mr. Muscle, are sometimes set to be extremely difficult.
Frank Pizzo
This is my recollection from when I tried Arm Champs II about 20 years ago. But other machines, such as the Mr. Muscle, are sometimes set to be extremely difficult. I assume the machines are set to be purposely easy to avoid any kind of injuries like the ones you mention in the article! I knew before I even dropped my quarters into the machine that it wouldn't actually be overly difficult.....but I still couldn't help myself lol.....they are definitely fun, and a bit addictive too!! I would be interested to try the Mr. muscle machine....I'll keep my eyes out for it. I do visit arcades fairly frequently with my kids, and always try the grip machines or anything strength related!....I don't know why, but I have to. Electron
Oh man... "Strong Man" has such a risky lever placement. Funny thing though, I don't think I could resist taking that thing in a tug of war if I see it in an arcade.

slazbob
Mr. Muscle was always at the picnic, here in PA. Late '80's.
Sam Radford
Arm Champs II - had one of these on my recent holiday to Cyprus and ended up getting the high score on the bonus round lol. Lots of fun and ended up spending few Euro's a day on the machine between few friends
David_wigren
Haha wow! I remember playing and beating the arm champs one when I was 15. I thought it felt pretty tough doing it back then as a kid. Bet it would feel like a joke today.
