Tom Scibelli
Wanted to start a new log focusing on a long time goal of mine, reaching the CTD rolling thunder numbers. My plan is to work with the RT twice a week, slowly increasing weight each workout and possibly doing some kind of pinch accessory. Weights will be just the weight loaded without the weight of the handle and loading pin and will be in kgs. Tom Scibelli
Awesome! I will be watching this .. Thanks Dave! Following! I too want to get the CTD done even if I'll never cert it officially. Where are you at with hub and grippers? Thanks Peter. I probably couldn't hub 45lbs right now, but hub strength comes back quick. Right now with grippers I can MMS a ghp 6 for 4 reps, but for this rolling thunder program, I think I'm just going to focus on it and no other grip movement, to help me make the most progress. Kilograms... Wow this just got serious. I will be following along(& using my calculator)- humor Good luck Tom. Thanks Josh, yeah I gave most of my lb weights to my kids, so kgs it is! Hell ya! Good luck. Thanks Durrs!

PeterSweden
Do you go near or to failure on any set or do you leave some in the tank? I found that one set to failure each session gave me good results. Really pushing it 100%. Never really tried anything else for RT yet. I really want to get past that magical 100kg mark. Tom Scibelli
Do you go near or to failure on any set or do you leave some in the tank? I found that one set to failure each session gave me good results. Really pushing it 100%. Never really tried anything else for RT yet. I really want to get past that magical 100kg mark. I'm experimenting with something that has been working for me with powerlifting. I'll warm-up then try to get anywhere between 3-6 reps and stop with one rep left in the tank. then I'll take 5-10% off and do drop sets, with 3-6 reps, until I feel I could only do one more reps, then the work out is over. The next workout I add 1kg if I reached 5 or 6 reps on the work set, if I reached 3 or 4 reps, I'll only add .5kg.

Tom Scibelli
Where did your RT max out before? Hey Josh, can't remember the last time I maxed out, it might have been last spring, but I got 165 in weights, so I got a ways to go to reach 200. Yeah, I'll get it on vid next session, I didn't think the weight was impressive enough to be videoed lol

JHenze646
Your left hand looks strong. Was it your better hand before? Are you doing these after regular lifting or on off days? Thank you for the video. Domination of the weights cant be conveyed by numbers alone.

Thank you for the video. Domination of the weights cant be conveyed by numbers alone. Thanks Josh. Yeah my left hand is a little bigger than my right so it's usually stronger with blobs too. I do these after my light workout days.

Tom Scibelli
W/O 912/27/14 Had a great training day today, the RT handle felt like it was glued to my hand! I also added up the RT handle, loading pin and clip and it was exactly 8lbs or 3.6kg, so that's weight I'm not counting at this point. 5x205x353x452x501x605x655x60 5x60 5x60 Total Volume: 1795
