19/64 X 7" O1 Drillrod In Imps - Double Underhand

Recommended Posts

I tried one of these last week and got it to 15 degrees. Today, took two hits to about 35 degrees! Going back through my logs, most of my 19/64 stock calibrated around 390-395. This is my grip room in my new place (haven't done anything with the walls yet!)

Strong stuff Carl. 400 this way is no joke...

The walls seem fine to me but this floor needs some chalk...

Not a ton, but I do both DU and Reverse in addition to my DO bending. However, I treat the other two as exercises for developing wrist strength not as an end in themselves, similar to sledge levering and plate curling. I'm not actively pursuing a Red or Bastard DU, but I would definitely be happy to achieve them!

I can only take down a G5 DU. G8's have historically stopped me in that style...but I'm optimistic that eventually my wrist strength will come up enough to manage a G8...as far as me Reversing a Bastard or a Red nail...not gonna happen lol!

Training DU is definitely a blast! A totally different type of bend and feel. DU is the only style I ever came close to passing out from too. I hear you on reverse!
