Ghp Mini Review & Pics!

Here's some pics linked to my gallery of the GHP Grippers made by Wade Gillingham and

offered for sale through the Gripper Superstore website who is a sponsor here at the Grip Board.

I realize that the regulars here at the GB know the above information but I'm repeating it for those

that may be new to the GB and possibly even grippers.

NOTE: Once you click the link to my gallery, click the image for a larger view.

The first pic is of the current complete lineup of GHP Grippers levels 1 - 9, with a level 10 coming SOON!

Next is a close-up pic of the knurling on the palm side handle (marked by a single ring)of a GHP gripper which is a more aggressive knurling than the opposite handle (finger side) for a very stable placement during one's setting of the gripper. BTW, in my opinion this is the best NEW feature to ever come along for torsion spring grippers. Brilliant idea on Wade's part! http://www.gripboard...eryℑ=10263

Next is another close-up of the less aggressive knurling of the handle for the finger side marked by 4 rings:

Here's a pic of the GHP's in their upright position for an overall view:

Next is a pic of another NEW feature which is the identification end caps securely attached to the end of each

GHP gripper handle which makes for an unmistakable way to know which gripper an individual is attempting especially

for a video documentation of a close:http://www.gripboard...eryℑ=10265

For those that may not already know the end caps are color coded for different levels of gripper strength status.

Levels 1 - 3 (Beginner) are marked with Green, Levels 4 - 6 (Novice) are marked in Red, and Levels 7 - 9 (Professional) are marked in Blue. Not only do the end caps add an attractive look to the grippers but have a distinct purpose for those that train with grippers. BTW, hope you like the post production work I added to this image. :)

There's not much I can add that hasn't already been mentioned previously but I did want to post some pics for others to see first hand just what a GREAT looking gripper Wade has designed. Not to mention NEW and UNIQUE features designed into the gripper with the grip trainee in mind that are simply BRILLIANT!

Lastly, a few things I noticed through measurements was the handle spread and the mounting depth. All 9 of my GHP grippers was within a few thousandths (.003" - .007") of a full 3" spread. All 9 grippers had the same mounting depth of .140" or 9/64th of an inch. Very consistent!

Only thing lacking is consumer use to see if spring seasoning is an issue and to get some fairly accurate estimates

of RGC numbers from those that calibrate grippers.

It appears to me that right out of the starting gate the GHP Grippers are a SUCCESS with a very PROMISING future

in store!

Thanks for reading my review and hopefully benefiting from the pics and what I've stated based on my own personal observations and measurements.

A HUGE Thank You to Wade Gillingham of GSS for starting 2012 off with a SQUEEZE!!!

I did some calibrations before and after seasoning and there was no change after 100 closes. The springs are great. I dont know what the material is but I would guess G8 with a good temper treatment.

Thanks guys!

Glad you liked it!

I almost forgot to mention and THANK Bill (Wannagrip) for extending the upload capacity in the gallery to

double what it formerly was.

As a photographer for nearly 15 years you'd think I would reduce my images in size before uploading

and not assume that the gallery has unlimited space. My bad!

Thanks again for all your help Bill! Hope I didn't get on your nerves with all the problems (of my own making) I've had lately

in my gallery.
