The road to 100 lbs has happened! Not happy with just staying here, I will improve this lift and get more.

Amazing. I was wondering when you'd get around to destroying this lift after seeing you make easy work of the Sorinex hub a while back.

I knew you'd get it sooner or later. Good progress.

Thanks Yori.

Thank Mike. This has been a goal for a long time. I guess the Sorinex hub was just the stepping stone to show me that it could be done.

Insane. And that one hub guy is gonna be mad lol

Lol. It's fine with me if it happens, I won't waste my energy on it.

Just so no debating comes up. (1) I am lifting this under Ironmind's rules, (2) my fingers do straighten out when it's fully lifted, (3) all weights used have been weighted using a digital postal scale that is accurate of the numbers, (4) I had more in the tank but was shocked that I lifted the weight and could not believe it.

Wow! That was legit. I always believed someone would break the 100lb barrier. In fact, a couple years ago i started a thread in regards to hubbing a 100lb plate. ..i think i remember people implying i was crazy at the time as well. Lol, im glad to see thats not the case. So thank you John! And more importantly, congrats! That is a massive lift and you just made history, sir.

And not to troll recent happenings or anything, but i think the rule change for the hub lift in regards to the King Kong were changed because many knew they wouldnt be able to compete with monster (legitimate claw grip) hub lifts like this one. Hell, i even had concerns about competing with just the 80lb+ pullers on the hub (and there is more than a handful these days) because i know that a big enough hub lift will place high even with average 1hp and 1hA #s. But to be honest, if some of you guys can pull monster #s on the hub and beat a better 1H pincher, or Axle lifter then you deserve the W based off your insane hub #s alone.

Im all about fair play. And changing rules to gain leverage isnt fair play.

People can try and mask the decision to change the hub rules by saying "the rules arent clear" all they want. But i see things a bit more clear than that.

Thanks Tommy. Lifting that much weight is a humbling moment for me. Like I've said before, I will lift more on the hub.

I've always been a person who believes it can be done, no matter if people assume it can't on said lift/tool, someone sooner or later will come out of nowhere and prove everyone wrong who said it could not be done.

It should be noted, I've never been to a single contest yet, so I'm very new to the subject. I was concerned about the recent rules for the hub; it threw me through a loop but after watching Juha's video on proper form it made more sense to what a lifter has to do. I'm not going to be one to complain about it and just keep doing what I'm doing.

Never tried this lift myself, believe it or not, so don't really know what's what, but I do know what it takes mentally to be the first to accomplish certain milestones. I think I know from experience what you went through with this mentally and cannot help but grin. ;) So great job John!

Holy hub batman! Congrats john. You're going to prove at the king Kong that you're way more than just a gripper guy!

Thanks guys. I just want to say that I really didn't expect to get this weight. Teemu, I'm actually surprised you haven't given this lift a go; yes I was smiling after it hit me that I lifted the weight.

Anthony, the batman part got me, lol

Wonderful job ! I always thought that magic number possible. Does this qualify as a record? Hopefully it does. Is hub new or seasoned old one.
