1stCoC
Dave is the real deal! One of most talented nicest grip guys I have ever met. What is overall thickness of 4 10k Ivanko plates? What would be the thickness of 4 old 25 lb York plates? ( has anyone ever done that?) The overall merit of the feat comes from three things . The total weight, the thickness ,and the amount of steel touching steel contact points. I think those Ivanko's were pretty darn hard due to their chromed surface. VA Dave
Hey Richard I sent my can in last week signed and dated. They said it should be arriving today or tomorrow. Hope it makes in there today since it's the cut off!
1stCoC
Dave' attempt at the Saporro can was a mighty mash . After close visual check and a water displacement test it was a tiny bit less battered than big Riches squeeze. It goes to prove they both have spirit and horsepower. Florian Kellersmann
Tried out the farmers walk today on the turf at the gym, got to 31 yards Wow! Grip sport at its best! Not 100% sure if this would be a world record distance, but it is definitely in this league! Keep it up!
Florian Kellersmann
I looked around but can't find it, what is the current double inch farmers walk record? Not sure, but Joel Sward und Rich Williams were the best I remember.
burkhardmacht
I looked around but can't find it, what is the current double inch farmers walk record? Joel Sward did 48,8 feet (no turm included) at the 25th October 2003 - when he first touched an InchDB! This attempt was videotaped. On November 1, 2003 he did 72' 9'' (one turm at 67') - this attempt was not videotaped but witnessed by Matt Makousky, Dave Ostlund and others. At the Mighty Mitts contest (in 2010?) Rich Williams did first place in the InchDB farmerswalk but I don't know the distance. The walk included two turns. Perhaps Richard Sorin or Jedd Johnson could help here, please! I believe Tex Henderson took second place with a distance close to Richs'. There were also training videos of Wade Gillingham doing some serious InchDB farmerswalkings prior to this comp... Hopefully You can get another InchDB. You could set a new record - I have no doubts! Go for it!
