Training from Friday.

5/29/2015

Bench (paused on workset) 8x 60.4Kg, 5x 80.4Kg, 3x 110.4Kg, 4x 135.4Kg, 5x 130.4Kg (first 2 paused, last 3 touch and go)

Grippers #1.5x10, Filed adj BBSM x 3

RH Filed hard #3 x1, 2x 169# #3.5, 1x GHP8, 1x 169# #3.5 - 10sec OC

LH 138# #3 x 1, 1x 154# #3, 142# adj BBGM x 1 - 7sec OC

Seated Unsupported Overhead Press 4x 77.9Kg

Training from last night. DUP protocol starting last week seems to be working well. Definitely stronger that the previous week on this top set. At this point I am at 3.5 months back training Bench and OHP. Happy with getting to 4x nearly 300# at 298.5 or 135.4kg paused no less in that time.

Thanks Martin.

Had to adjust training days this week due to nights planned working on the rental house repairs. So only training Tues and Friday. Training last night was good and I grabbed video of the workset on bench and ohp. tried to grab vid of the top gripper set too but it was pretty crummy with me moving hand all over the place. Need to review on bigger screen and see if that one is even worth uploading as well as whether I got 2nd rep or not on the #3.5. Will get vids up as soon as I can.

Those seated presses don't bother your prior back injury?

They don't seem to with the legs bent. Standing ones bug my back more as do squats and DL in the standing position under load. I started pretty light with these close to 4 months ago and have been slowly working up in weight and the unsupported aspect of the lift activates and strengthens the core more as well as reducing how much weight I can do. I think all those things help in my situation. Thanks for asking.

Did some 1RM testing today. No proper spotter on bench so I didn't push it too far. Was hoping for a little more on Bench and expecting about this on OHP.

Double checked the log. 15Kg on bench and 10Kg on OHP added in about 10 weeks from last test day in April.
