Gary Gray
I have noticed than some Robert Baraban Adjustable Hand Grippers rotate on 2 bolts and some rotate on 1 bolt. What is the difference between the 2 bolts vs. 1 bolt model? Do the handles close on both the 2 bolts and 1 bolt model?
Cannon
Can you post a picture of the 2 bolt?
RTvG
I think Gary means like the one displayed next to the Vulcan
Gary Gray
Yes, the picture on the left is the Baraban with 2 bolts - thank you for the picture. I was looking on Amazon and some Baraban models have 2 bolts and some Baraban models have 1 bolt. Just wondering what is the difference and if the handles touch when closed. (Not sure which model to get) Thank you
RTvG
Handles touch in both. For chosing between the barabans, Id opt for the one with only 1 bolt. The 2 bolter feels as if it has a bit more inner resistance, meaning that on higher levels, it feels as if you're not only trying to extend the spring but also to overcome the internal friction. I find this less with the 1 bolt version. ((When chosing for an adjustable, Id definitely advise a Vulcan. Much much better. I have 1 older vulcan (in the picture with the wasp attached) and 2 V2's. All three are put to use a lot. My 2 baraban adjustables are collecting dust..)) edited: just my preference, I put in (())
