Silvis Adjustable Gripper Help

Just got my Silvis T-Rex in the mail! I was going to use it in my workout tonight, but I had a question on adjusting it first. I watched Might Joe's videos about what weight it would be at a certain depth. So I was trying to get it all set up for tonight, but I wasn't sure on where start the measurement for the depth. My guess would be the bottom of the spring, but I know you guys have a lot more experience than I do :bow

The idea is to put the allen wrench straight through so it's flat against the top of the handle and flat against the bottom of the spring.

Honestly, I just eyeball these suckers in training. It really doesn't matter if the handles line up as long as you're getting the desired resistence.

Alright I will give that a try. I probably wont worry about measurements after today. I just wanted to get it close to my max and go from there. Thanks!

I used a sharpie marker on the spring once the handles were in place.

I can change the handles from just below the line to just above in less than a minute.

Enough of a difference for left and right hand strength variation.

That is a great idea. Since my left hand cant quite keep up with my right that would work perfect. Thanks for the tip!
