Old School York 45's Deepdish

Just curious how many out there who can pinch an average pair of 45''s that have tried to pinched a pair of the Deepdish York 45's? And if they can compare how much harder they are to lift?

Also I believe if I'm not mistaken they are about 2" thick, what other ways can you identify them? I found some that I think could be the real thing that I'm picking up today but I'm not 100% sure.

Great find Jake!

The one pair I tried didn't match up at all. For me it would take at least two years of specialization to get it. Very very tough feat.

That's crazy.. That's why I want them so bad.. I feel like once you can pinch those old school 45's that you have really hit the top level of difficulty when I comes to that specific feat of strength.

I think the only people who have pinched those SOBs are Jedd, Woodall, and Richard Sorin...if there are more I apologize. Very difficult feat... My 75-80mm fitness gear plates were incredibly hard! Can't fathom pinching these!!

Those are all I know of as well. Very hard feat. I tried them the other day and wasn't even close.

the ones I have do not line up at all. the lip on mine is much thinner and uneven. hopefully yours are in better shape. I can barely pinch mine 2hp style without a pipe through them.

Those are some nice plates. I used to have seven pair and now I am down to three. Like it was mentioned earlier, they don't all fit nicely. Kind of annoying when doing conventional lifts with them
