More than a year after original post I'll give my review. I bought deluxe version, which means 5 different springs of various colors and strength, red, silver, black, yellow and green. It's a compression gripper, the body is thin steel, the handles are padded with plastic coating. It came with 2 rods, and you secure the rods with pins. There is 5 holes of difficulty, closer to the handle it's harder, because you have to compress spring more. Changing rods is not very comfortable. On the most difficult setting the spring is compressed all the way yet handles not touching, so rom is minimum. I'm a collector, and this piece is an addition to my collection, however it's not a replacement for Vulcan or even super gripper, that's why it's has not become popular as evidenced by first review.
